But before we get into this, I want to establish that this verse is all about you; tho it was King David’s Psalms, by the blood of Jesus, you and I were grafted into this covenant through the everlasting covenant.
A powerful reminder! What God says to one, He says to All, emphasizes that God’s promises, instructions, and words are universal and applicable to everyone, not just a select few.
In other words, if God says something to one person, it’s as if He’s saying it to all people. His words are timeless, universal, and relevant to every individual.
I encourage you to take God’s words today personally and apply them to your own lives now, knowing that His truth is for everyone.
Now this is what today’s verse is to you today;
1. “By you” refers to God, emphasizing that it’s through God’s help and strength that you can accomplish great things today, yesterday, and in the future.
2. “I can run against a troop” means that with God’s help, you can overcome overwhelming situations and challenges around your life and destiny. A “troop” refers to a large group of enemy soldiers or demonic agents.
3. “And by my God I can leap over a wall” means that with God’s help, you can overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles. The “wall” represents a barrier or challenge that would be impossible to overcome without God’s help.
Overall, this verse is saying that with God’s strength and power, we can overcome any challenge or obstacle that comes our way throughout our journey this year.
